Returns, Withdrawal and Refunds

This policy explains the customer’s right of withdrawal, return process and refund rules for purchases made through the Miaamor online store.

14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

For product purchases, the withdrawal period usually starts on the day when you, or a third party indicated by you other than the carrier, receives the product.

If multiple products are delivered separately under one order, the withdrawal period may start from the day on which the last product is received.

How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement before the withdrawal period expires.

Please include your order number, name, email address used for the order and the product you wish to return.

Returning the Product

If you withdraw from the contract, you must return the product without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal.

The deadline is met if you send back the product before the 14-day return period has expired.

Return Shipping Costs

The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the customer, unless Miaamor expressly agrees otherwise or the law provides otherwise.

We cannot accept parcels sent by cash on delivery or postage due.

Refunds

If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund the payments received from you in accordance with applicable law.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product, or until you have supplied evidence that you have sent the product back, whichever is earlier.

Refunds are usually made using the same payment method that was used for the original transaction, unless another method is expressly agreed and does not result in additional costs for the customer.

Condition of Returned Products

The customer is responsible for any reduction in the value of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.

For candles and gift-ready products, please return items unused, unopened where possible, undamaged and in resaleable condition. Products that have been burned, used, damaged, altered or handled beyond what is necessary for inspection may be subject to depreciation or may not be eligible for a full refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal may not apply in certain cases provided by applicable consumer protection law, including but not limited to products made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised products, and certain sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if unsealed after delivery.
